Dr. Asmar completed his residency in obstetrics and gynecology as well as a fellowship in reproductive endocrinology and infertility at the Washington University School of Medicine. His expertise in fertility care includes ectopic pregnancy, laparoscopic surgery and tubal catheterization. Dr. Asmar has extensive experience and expert training in the assisted reproductive technologies including in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI), egg donation and male infertility. He is widely published on topics such as cellular and biochemical endocrinology, endometriosis, laser surgery, infections, stress and infertility, and more.
Dr. Asmar has served as a clinical instructor in the department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Minnesota and the Washington University School of Medicine. Currently, he is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ACOG), Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG) and a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), Society for Assisted Reproductive Technology (SART) and the American Medical Association (AMA).
