| Dr. Sarajari recently relocated from California and joined Washington Fertility Center, where she specializes in reproductive endocrinology and infertility and is on the advisory board for Egg Donor Surrogacy USA. Dr. Susan Sarajari offers expertise in the latest treatments in infertility and reproductive endocrinology, and is dedicated to providing compassionate patient care to help patients overcome infertility.
Board certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and board eligible in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility, Dr. Sarajari is licensed to practice medicine in Virginia, Maryland, and California. She received her MD degree and her PhD degree from the Chicago Medical School and completed her residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology as well as her fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA).
Before joining Washington Fertility Center in Virginia, Dr. Sarajari practiced Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Huntington Reproductive Center in Los Angeles. She also maintained a Clinical Assistant Professor position at UCLA where she taught residents and fellows and stayed abreast of the latest technologies and developments.
Dr. Sarajari is the recipient of multiple awards. She received an achievement award from the Society of Laparoendoscopic Surgeons, a Best Teacher Award and was recognized as a 'Top Doctor' in her field by Northern Virginia Magazine. In addition, she has multiple published writings in subjects such as oocyte cryopreservation, preimplantation genetic diagnosis (PGD), endometriosis, and sexual dysfunction as well as related topics. Her interests also include polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) and recurrent pregnancy loss.
Dr. Sarajari is a Fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists (ACOG), a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology (ABOG), a member of the American Society for Reproductive Medicine (ASRM), the Society for Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility (SREI) and the Medical Society of Virginia.
Recently featured in the well-known German publication ‘Der Spiegel’, Dr. Sarajari speaks German as well as Spanish, and has experience in helping families from around the world achieve their dream of having a family. |
