COVID-19 Update - April 7th, 2020

To our patients, staff and colleagues,

We continue to carefully monitor this pandemic and follow the CDC and ASRM guidelines in order to protect our patients and our staff.

We have recently adopted the following measures:

Our Annandale office is open as usual to offer appointments for new patients, second opinion consultation, and any office diagnostic testing.

Telemedicine is always available and recommended to new patients, second opinions, and follow-up consultations.

Our administrative staff is always available to answer any questions you may have about your insurance coverage, requests from your health insurance plan for verification of benefits for fertilty testing and/or treatments, your copays and coinsurance, as well as any treatment preauthorization, etc.

Our physicians and clinical staff are also available to answer any questions about your laboratory test results, your treatment, etc.

Office visits are now restricted to our patients only. Partners or children are advised not to enter our facility for their safety and the safety of our staff.

Our staff will be wearing protective facial masks. They are following regular hand washing guidelines, using hand sanitizers, and advising distancing to our patients in our waiting room.

Our patients are also advised to wear facial masks and use hand sanitizers.

Office hours in our satellite locations, Reston and Fredericksburg, are temporarily suspended.

We are still offering office testing such as ultrasound examinations, diagnostic hysteroscopies, sonohysterograms, hysterosalpingogram (HSG), mock embryo transfers, blood drawing, etc.

In accordance with the ASRM recommendations, we are suspending all fertility treatments until April 30, 2020 when those recommendations will be reviewed by our medical society. The suspended treatments include: ovulation stimulation, intra uterine inseminations, egg retrievals, in-vitro fertilization, donor egg cycles, fresh or frozen embryo transfers, elective surgical procedures, etc.

We will keep you updated with any new developments and decisions by our medical society.

Just like you, we are anxious to assist you in building your family and make your dream come true. Please stay safe!
